Project: Wheelchair Clinic (Providing Wheelchairs to Persons with Disabilities)

Bringing hope, dignity, Mobility and independence to Persons with DisabilitiesThroughout Karachi, there are tens of thousands of people with various disabilities who cannot afford the basic equipment needed to obtain mobility, and thus to participate as active members of their communities.The causes of these disabilities are different disease, and accidents. In many cases, they are the members of loving families... but families who are simply too poor to afford the needed equipment. A simple wheelchair can cost as much as one month’s salary.

This is where Wheelchair Clinic and your role come into action.If you wish to share the joy of giving with your friends and families the gift of Mobility and Self-Employment to Persons with Disabilities. This is a unique opportunity to demonstrate your values and commitment to humanitarian relief while helping rebuild the lives of the poor Persons with Disabilities by providing them with a wheelchair/Tri-Cycle. If you have ever been moved by the plight of the deprived Persons with Disabilities who share our basic humanity, but not our basic fundamental rights, and you wonder what you could do to help them, We invite you to join hands with us in supporting the deprived Persons with Disabilities, who only because of their poverty stay confined in their houses, and if provided with a wheelchair/Tri-Cycle/ they can at least move around.
